There are 30,000 orchid species and 70,000 hybrids or cultivars, making orchids the largest family of flowering plants in the world. Join this discussion of different varieties and how to make them flourish in the environment. Ann is a long-time orchid lover. Her first was a present in 1974 and she still has the offspring. Lin put her first orchid in her office 25 years ago and her clients still like to challenge her with new ones. Ann and Lin are both Master Gardeners.
