About the Foundation
The Island County Master Gardener Foundation (ICMGF) has more than 90 members, all of whom are certified Master Gardeners or Master Gardener Interns. Our members volunteer all over Island County, working on projects to enhance natural beauty and sustainability of our environment.

The Foundation hosts two annual fund-raising events: The Whidbey Gardening Workshop and the Plant Sale
Whidbey Gardening Workshop

In early March of each year, the Whidbey Gardening Workshop provides classes for gardeners of all skill levels and interests. Other activities include Field Trips and an exciting Marketplace. Go to whidbeygardening.org to read about the the most recent Workshop.
Plant Sale

The Master Gardener Plant Sale is held annually in the big barn at the Greenbank Farm and on Camano Island. Plants are propagated and divided by Master Gardeners, who are available during the sale with advice. Join us each year on the Saturday before Mother's Day.
We host meetings and classes on gardening topics throughout the year - all open to the public. And we support the Master Gardener Education Garden at Greenbank Farm.
Classes - Open to the Public

Member meetings include educational presentations by local experts on a wide variety of topics.

During the summer, classes are also held at the Education Garden at Greenbank Farm. Watch for dates and topics on the Events page.
